Interdire le bang?

Australia - Ted Baillieu, le leader de l'opposition, a déclaré qu’un futur gouvernement de coalition interdira la vente de pipes à eau pour réduire les dommages aux familles habitants de Victoria causés par le cannabis.

"Le cannabis est une drogue dangereuse qui cause de graves dommages physiques et mentaux à de nombreux victorien chaque année", a déclaré Ted Baillieu. "Interdire la bang envoie un message clair que le cannabis est une substance dangereuse et nuisible"

Le gouvernement de Victoria ne supporte pas une interdiction de pipes à eau.

"Tant que John Brumby [Premier ministre de Victoria] permet des bongs à être vendus librement dans plus de 100 magasins à travers l'état, les jeunes de Victoria et les familles continuerons à souffrir des effets néfastes du cannabis", a déclaré M. Baillieu. "Les Victoriens ne peuvent pas faire confiance à un gouvernement qui prétend être fort contre les drogues mais pour le moment ne franchi pas cette étape importante pour réduire la consommation de drogue."

as for this whole arguement... i dont think it will do anything apart from cause slight inconvenience and perhaps a small loss of business to some shops.
if people want to smoke, they'll smoke. what about pipes? can they still sell them?
there's always a joint.
and if people really want a bong they'll just buy one off the internet. worst case scenario: it comes labelled as an ornament... oh no!

this is just stupid. political parties should lose seats just for wasting time coming up with stuff like this!

Like that's going to matter to Bong smoking stoners: Take a plastic soda bottle, make 2 holes in the screw cap and pull 2 straws through the holes; a short one and a long one. Voila; A bong.

Sigh why do idiots like this guy keep on stigmatizing weed? Sure if you use it to much its bad but so is coffee and ALLOT of other things which you can buy in any store are you gonna ban them to?

well all i have to say is if they ban it, buy all the stores out and save them for future use, and then start making your own its not that hard i work in a store that sells bongs, all you need is a diamond drill head, downstem and grommet and a bowl of course

Cette "interdiction" ne changera absolument rien. Tout le monde le sait, sauf ceux qui vont la voter, c'est terrible quand même. Il leur suffirait de lire ces commentaires pour comprendre combien cette décision est ridicule.

Mr. Baillieu can't be serious. Active politicians constantly take care not to make foul out of themselves in public, tho there seem to be an exception or two.
P.S.: I use to make pretty functional bongs using glass jam jars etc. I remember being caught for the first time (parents) smoking pot and I was using first home made bong. :) Unforgetable - I mean the bong.

all these suckers in the government use drugs most of all they snort kokane thats why they re so greedy so if they want to reduce weed its because to increase the use of other drugs thik about they are controling the drugs on the streets all their agitations and proclamations are to regulate and manipulate the prices traffiking and trading just like the first grade richies and gangsters are controling them....
