In this case I read a lot of user reviews on the internet on all the different kinds of portable vaporisers available, so not only the limited range from Azarius.
ENTHOUSIAMSE
Even though the VG seemed like the way to go in the first stage of my research, I kept on looking, but in the end came back to the VG. I bought the oak version. After months of problem less use I ordered the maple version for a family member because I realised that everybody should stop combusting and start vaporising!
PERFORMANCE
From the above you might rightfully conclude that I am very happy with my vaporiser! I use it almost daily, mainly for vaporising weed and sometimes hash. After vaporising, the weed is of a darker colour the end product of the non-portable electric Silver Surfer vaporiser, but that’s to be expected. I have also successfully tried it with other herbs and even pulverised wood from the Palo Santo tree (you should try it, you can order it from Azarius). The VG gives a subtle wood taste when used, but nothing too distracting. In other words: GOOD!
PORTABILITY
The portability of this product is good! You can quickly pop it out anywhere as long as it is allowed to smoke there. So this also means in coffeeshops! Some people will think it’s just a pipe, others will look more strange thinking you are using a crack pipe. For that exact reason I bought mine in a wood colour as it is less crack pipe looking and more combustion pipe.
QUALITY
About the quality of the product I have no issues! You can even order screens, pipe cleaners and mouthpieces for FREE at the VaporGenie website (DON’T MISUSE THIS SERVICE!).
CONCLUSION
Very decent product that you can take with you very easily and which will bring you lots of joy. If you are only looking for a vaporiser to use at home this can be a nice cheap alternative to the more expensive electrical ones. If you however do have some extra money around I strongly suggest you buy the Silver Surfer Vaporiser which is just extraordinary good!!!

- Vraiment pratique pour quelqu'un qui désire vaporiser de l'"herbe" sans devoir la fumer.
- Pas de mauvaise allène de fumée. Ni dans la bouche ni dans la pièce.
- Un chouette gout d'"herbe" au début.
- Une fois qu'on a bien compris le principe, on peut vraiment vaporiser assez vite sans brulé le contenu. La chaleur se ressent sur les lèvres et permet de jaugé la température. L'utilisation est intuitive, il faut pas spécialement réfléchir, juste essayer.
- L'effet des " herbes" est super.
Inconvénient:
- Pour éviter de consommer ses briquets, je conseil l'utilisation d'un briquet à flamme tempête rechargeable au gaz.
- Le gens ne connaissent pas souvent ce système de pipe. Il faut souvent expliquer ce que c'est en soirée. Il parait que c'est plus connu en Amérique. Ça commence à peine en Europe.
- Demande 2 3 utilisations pour l'utiliser parfaitement. Il faut un peu se débrouiller mais une fois qu'on à compris c'est tout simplement génial.
Conclusion:
Excellente pipe pour ceux qui désire consommer de l' "herbe" sans se ruiner la santé. Et ce, sans utiliser de tabac. Je pense que dans quelques années ce genre de pipe seront plus répandues en Europe. ”

“il est vrai qu'il faut un temps d'adaptation pour vaporizer comme il faut, on s'arrache la gorge avant de comprendre qu'il faut une petite flame pour pas bruler l'herbe, et ne pas étre trop gourmand par ce que l'on ne sent pas la vapeur dans la gorge quand on aspire, seulement quand on recrache. une foi habitué, on ce régale. un gout énorme qu'y dure longtemps et une claque gigantesque les premiers foi, après ça reste quand même plus élevé qu'un joint. et si tu recrache la vapeur dans un sac plastique pour la réaspirer. accroche ton cerveau par ce qu'y va partir Hi Hi....
J'ai déja teste le décapeur thermique avec un bong sans eau pour rien perdre, mais le gout ni est pas. rien a voir avec cette petite merveille. sinon pour ce qu'y se demande si on peut arreter les joint avec un vapo, il faut savoir que les vapo ne procure pas la sensation de la fumer et donc on n'en veut toujours plus. pour ne faire que vaporizer il faut soit arreter de fumer quelque jour les clopes et les joints, (trés dure) soit étre riche et ce defoncer au vapo quelque jour sans fumer et reduire une fois que le manque de clope a disparu ca marche, mais ça défonce grave.
moi, je fume des joint que si je suis accompagner et vaporize chaque soir. je ressent moins de fatigue le matin et je suis plus actif. cela agi aussi sur les nerf car il faut savoir que le THC ne procure plus de dépendance si il est consommer pure. (tout comme la cok mais cela et un autre débat)

Well, this litte pipe can vaporize, if you don't know what vaporizing is about : HEALTHIER, TASTIER, STRONGER.

That is what vaporizing gives you with your herbs.
The product by itself is not really beautifull, I would even say that it is pretty ugly. The material used is not the best and most ergonomic (those who used to smoke with real tobacco pipes will understand). The mouth piece is not well done (all the real good grandpa' pipes use to have something for your teeth to help you keep the pipe in your mouth very easily), also the weight is disproportionnate, so you can't hold it in your mouth without having to use a lot of strengh, not the nicest.
You have to use your two hands to use this pipe.
The bowl is large enough, no complaints there!
It can't burn you if you want to change it when baked.
All in all, you just need a lighter, this pipe and your herbs for a good trip, vaporizing is so simple with this. ”

“Word, that technique Don Jia mentions is the shit right there. That's one way it gets done. You just need to feel out how much heating needs to be done before you fully inhale. It helps to understand that after having been heated up to temperature, the ceramic filter for a few seconds actually heats the air you suck in, even after you've cut the torch. There is indeed a slight learning curve to the Vapor Genie, due to the fact that you are vaping "blindly," but weird as it sounds, it helps to visualize the process while doing it. You can totally make this vape your own. The quality of the vapor is very good and flavorsome if you do it right, and the high of vapor tends to be, for me anyway, a stronger, purer high, with less of the sluggishness I get from regular toking. This is probably due to the fact that different alkoloids in the herb are inhaled, as opposed to when it is burned. To make a long story short, it is not only THC which is the "active' substance in the herb, all natural drugs are compounds. Do yourself a favor and get this. Worth every cent.
Oh, and here's a neat thing I tried tonight. I am most definitely twice as high than normal now off one very modest bowl.”

“The VaporGenie needs some getting used to, you can't just light and hit it, 'cause if you overheat the herb it burns, equalling nasty coughs. Once you get it down, though, you can get ripped on a fraction of the dope you'd normally only smoke to take the edge off things.
Here's my personal technique:
1. Use a small flame and ever so lightly drag on the Genie, just enough to get the flame drooping into the hole.
2. Place the tip of your tongue on your palate while doing this, as this allows you to gauge the temperature with the botom of your tongue, rather than the back of your throat.
3. When you feel warm vapor trinkling through wait a second or so, then cut the flame and hit that pipe hard as if you're letting rip on a bong. Hold that vopor in.
4. Exhale big fluffy clouds of vapor.
You need to get a feel for it, I guess.”

“This is the one you want, it's a convection vape that fits in your pocket. Most vapes under 200 bucks are conduction based, meaning the heating element touches the herb. The vaporgenie allows you to suck hot air over your herb, and with a little practice you can vaporize your smoke in under a minute, no warm up time, just load the bullet, screw on the top and go, it's as easy as it is good. Obviously, MJ works a charm with this one, but now you can vape lots of other herbs that you'd normally need to smoke a lot of to get an effect, without sooting up your lungs. Hurrah!!! They should give a Nobel Prize to those cats at Vaporgenie.”
